MOHAMMED HAYATU-DEEN TO CHAIR AND PROF. AYODELE MOROCCO-CLARKE TO DELIVER KEYNOTE ADDRESS AT THE 18TH EDITION OF THE J-K GADZAMA LLP ANNUAL PUBLIC LECTURE
The 18th Edition of the J-K Gadzama LLP Annual Public Lecture will be chaired by the renowned Mohammed Hayatu-Deen OON, who is a seasoned Banker, astute Economist, brilliant Project Finance Executive, and respected elder statesman, with about 40 years’ experience across multiple Nigerian industries.
He is the Chief Executive Officer at Alpine Investments Ltd; Director at Seven-Up Bottling Co. Plc, and Director at Air Nigeria Development Ltd. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, Director of the Nigerian German Business Council, Member of the World Economic Forum, Member of the Africa Business Round Table, Member of the West Africa Business Association, Member of the National Council of Vision 2010, and Member of the National Council on Privatisation.
He previously held positions such as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at FSB International Bank Plc, Chairman at Dorman Long Engineering Ltd, Chairman at The Nigerian Economic Summit Group, Director at Nigeria Eagle Airlines Ltd, Non-Executive Director at PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, Director at Securities Solutions Ltd, and Managing Director at New Nigeria Development Co. Ltd.
Over the years, he has served as Chairman/Director of several organizations including; Nigerian Stock Exchange (Council Member),
Northern Nigeria Investments Limited, Nigeria Hotels Limited, Kaduna Textiles Limited, New Nigeria Construction Company, Benue Cement Company, Sokoto Cement Company Northern Nigeria, Virgin Nigeria Limited, Inlaks, etc.
The lecture will also feature the inspiring Prof. Ayodele Morocco-Clarke, LLB (Hons), BL (Hons), LLM, Ph.D, as the keynote speaker. She is a brilliant Professor of Energy, Climate and Environmental Law at Nile University, a Consultant to the Senate (National Assembly of Nigeria) on Constitutional Review, and a renowned scholar in sustainable development and natural resource management.
The lecture is titled “Beyond Oil: Diversifying Nigeria’s Economy through Sustainable Natural Resource Management”, and is scheduled to hold virtually, as follows:
